AS OF JANUARY 2009 MANY CHANGES ARE IN EFFECT WITH THE WASHINGTON DEPT OF RADIATION PROTECTION.  FEES AND FINES ARE SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER, SO BE SURE TO CONTACT US PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.

Many of your questions can be answered regarding registration and the rules and regulations of Washington by visiting the State of Washington DOH website.  Similar rules apply in many States, but you should check with your own State Radiation Protection department for specific information that applies to your situation.  In the future, we hope to add links to Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and Hawaii.   Often I can answer your shielding questions via email or a simple phone call.  The State presently is charging a fee of $344 to review a plan with one change allowed.
