We carry them in stock for immediate shipment. Major Tap Les Wilkins p/n NE-28F1995 Minor Tap Les Wilkins p/n NE-29F1994 Indicator Bulbs for handlebar lights PA-85 Exposure and bucky switches are also available. Call for part numbers & price (around $30) PROBLEM The control shuts off when backup contactor drops (closes) on rotor timeout. REPLACE F8 FUSE Second from the left lower row. 2 amp slow blow PROBLEM The machine exposes intermittently or not at all. REPLACE the power supply board with a rebuilt board. We carry them in stock. Check the exposure switch too, but generally it is the board. See next page for instructions. PROBLEM KV Minor tap is suspected of failure. Remove the 3rd fuse from the left, lower row and jiggle switch at all stations. Bad stations will cause the KV needle to drop to zero. Replace the KV Tap switch NOTE When replacing the rotor or exposure switches (we carry them in stock too) you must remove the back panel and an interior back panel as well. You should have a set of x-cellite nutdrivers or equiv., as the nuts are very difficult to remove without a nutdriver. You must also remove this panel to change a KV tap switch. When re-installing, be careful not to catch the MA "wheel" and pinch it. It is very easy to put everything back together and find the MA wheel (back of the ma switch) pinched. Your first inclination is that the switch has failed, (because you cannot move it) but upon examination you will see that it is only the wheel sandwiched between the mounting plates for the KV and exposure switches. Careful re assembly of the mounting plates will preclude the problem. And yes, I learned most of the above the hard way. Roy M. Duncan, President Last updated 2/13/08 |
